Monument to Rainis

Rainis's Rememberance Fondatition announced a competition to design a monument to Rainis in 1932. Sculptor K.Zemdega (Baumanis) presented 2 projects, one of it was selected.

The authors of the monument are sculptor K.Zemdega and architect P.Arends. This monument shows the spirit of the poet.
