The main emphasis of composition and the most splendid element of the building was a memorial site (sign) with the stone moulding "Christ and the sinner" with a Mannerism-style border ornament that dates back to 1618 (it is possible that the ornament was made in Nirnberg). The dynamic composition of the moulding is made in slender plastic forms with great professionalism, which demonstrates than the masterpieces in the best art traditions of Europe of the 17th century have appeared in Riga. The decoration of the upper and lower part of the moulding is significant as well. The present outlook the fa?ade of the building with two portals gained in the reconstructions of 1710 and 1777.
